Conclusion

 

By referring to the complete statistics for the game in the table below you can see that it was completed on the realistic setting such that the maximum number of skill points were obtained (34745); as many augmentations and their upgrades and weapon modifications were taken and used as possible given the choice of weapons selected (9, 19 and 61 respectively); all enemies were eliminated (677); no friendly characters were allowed to die; the maximum number of credits were taken (24981); at the end of the game you had the maximum amount of all types of ammo remaining as well as 12331 credits; and all this was achieved using up only 13 rounds of ammo, 1 lockpick and 6 multitools.

Of course the number of multitools that were needed throughout the game could vary depending on how much patience you have with guessing codes! Theoretically this could all have been done without using even a single multitool, but I think the quoted value of 6 represented a reasonable expected level of patience during the game.

The 1 lockpick was definitely necessary, and I have been unable to avoid using the 13 rounds of various ammo to complete the game whilst sticking to my stated objectives. If you can figure out a way of conserving any more ammo than I have done please let me know how and I will include your method in the walkthrough and give you the credit for it.
